Our culture
Our humble beginnings date back to a Georgia textile mill and a simple act of kindness. Since 1888, we’ve stayed true to the concept of banking as a service to our communities and the people who live here. We believe business is personal. Customers are people, and people are at the heart of every business.
Relationships matter here
Everything our team members do is rooted in our heritage of service and trusting relationships with other team members, our customers, and our communities. Through these relationships, we deliver unparalleled responsiveness, expertise, efficiency, and accuracy to our customers. As a result, Synovus has consistently been recognized as one of America's most reputable banks by American Banker and as one of America's best mid-size businesses by Forbes.
